What Deliveroo requires
Everything in this section is published by Deliveroo. Each line is marked as a rule or as advice, because the two are not the same thing when you are deciding what to do.
Size and shape
Whatever you upload, Deliveroo crops item images to a 1:1 square for displayRequired

Points we could not settle from a published source. Some are figures that circulate widely without one we could trace; on others Deliveroo’s guidance reads differently in different places, or does not reach the question. Everything here is marked, so you can see what rests on a source and what does not.
- ⚠ The square crop takes the edges — leave roughly 15-20% margin around the dish (our reading, not a Deliveroo sentence)
- ⚠ Deliveroo publishes no file-size limit we could find
These are the rules. We build to them.
Upload one photo and get back a set sized, framed and backgrounded to exactly what is on this page. No studio, no measuring, no rejected listing.
