What Deliveroo requires

Everything in this section is published by Deliveroo. Each line is marked as a rule or as advice, because the two are not the same thing when you are deciding what to do.

  • Formats: JPG, PNG — the Deliveroo developer docs say both; a JPEG-only rule circulates for its Restaurant Hub and we could not settle which applies to youRequired

Uploading and review

  • Deliveroo runs an automated quality check and may offer you an enhanced version of your photo to accept or replaceRequired

Where available, image enhancement may help improve some eligible issues. You can review the enhanced version and choose whether to accept it or replace the image

Points we could not settle from a published source. Some are figures that circulate widely without one we could trace; on others Deliveroo’s guidance reads differently in different places, or does not reach the question. Everything here is marked, so you can see what rests on a source and what does not.

  • ⚠ The square crop takes the edges — leave roughly 15-20% margin around the dish (our reading, not a Deliveroo sentence)
  • ⚠ Deliveroo publishes no file-size limit we could find

These are the rules. We build to them.

Upload one photo and get back a set sized, framed and backgrounded to exactly what is on this page. No studio, no measuring, no rejected listing.

Ready-made Deliveroo packs, built from these rules:
